 Luce Caponegro (born December 12, 1966, in Rome), is an Italian actress and TV presenter and was a very successful Italian porn star who also goes by her stage name of Selen, by which she is still better known today.
Early life
Her father was an Italian industrialist active in the petroleum industry. She attended courses in singing, classical dance, and horse-riding as a child. After leaving home and marrying at the age of 18, she lived in a commune without running water or heating until the age of twenty.
Career as pornstar
At 20 she first ventured into the adult industry, appearing in establishments for adults and moving on to her first amateur hardcore video "Orgia di compleanno" directed by Cesare Geromini. Her decision to pursue a career in porn was driven by exhibitionism and, in her words, her passion for sex and the need to rebel against society. Her parents disapproved of her career, which was however encouraged by her then husband. Allegedly her parents moved to a new city out of embarrassment at their daughter's career choice. Her breakthrough came in 1993 at the age of 27 when the director Alex Perry offered her a role in the film "Signore scandalose di provincia", a film with a high budget and international cast. From that moment her popularity grew rapidly and she adopted the stage name Selen. She has been called Italy's favourite pornstar. She made appearances at the Hot D'Or pornographic festival in Cannes and Erotica in Turin and won 17 prizes during her career as a famous pornographic actress from 1993-98.
Her last hardcore scenes were released in 2001 with the movie Millennium. Although her last sex scene was filmed in 1998, she continued to appear afterwards in films as clips were used in later hardcore movies. She has stated that she would not return to porn in the future - in her words, she was not enjoying the profession enough to continue.
Sex scenes
As with many porn actresses, her repertoire included anal sex, bukakke and double penetration although she is not renowned as a specialist in these techniques. Her erotic acts centred on vaginal sex and oral sex, where she demonstrated the ability to deep throat, typically culminating in facial ejaculation. As is common in heterosexual porn films, Selen's male co-stars did not wear condoms when entering her. When copulating on film, she was usually tanned with blonde hair, although she is a natural dark brunette. She mainly acted with one or sometimes two male partners at a time but also performed in a number of lesbian and solo hardcore scenes.
Directors
Selen starred in films by well-known Italian porn directors including Mario Salieri (Dracula, Sceneggiata napoletana, Concetta Licata), Silvio Bandinelli (Il rosso e il nero, Cuore di pietra) and Joe D'Amato (Selvaggia, Sahara, Selen regina degli elefanti). Another well known film in which she took the title role was Cindy, directed by Franco Lo Cascio. She directed or co-directed other films in which she also starred.
Co-stars
Well known male porn actors she had intercourse with on more than one occasion include Rocco Siffredi as well as Zensa Raggi and the Hungarians Frank Gun and Jolth Walton. Kelly Trump was one of her lesbian partners.
Locations
Some of Selen's films were shot at exotic locations: Selen regina degli elefanti (Queen of the elephants) takes place in the Kenyan jungle. Selen rides elephants and makes love outdoors with Frank Gun. Sahara was filmed in the desert and includes two outdoor lovemaking scenes with Zensa Raggi and a double penetration scene with Jolth Walton and Frank Gun including a sandwich and climaxing in bukakke. The end credits feature many appealing shots of Selen posing naked in the desert sands.
Mainstream career
Although now a mainstream actress and no longer active in the branch which made her famous, she remains very popular in Italy and has given many interviews, which describe her as intelligent, shy, pleasant, good-humoured and charming in addition to being beautiful. She has had a number of supporting roles in films and mainstream television. She has presented the music programme "Hot" She has made appearances in radio (hosting the show "Lezioni di sesso" (Sex Lessons) ), theatre and advertisements and in 2004, she starred in the reality show La Fattoria. TV shows she has participated in include the Maurizio Costanzo Show, Uno Mattina, Domenica In, I Fatti Vostri and Omnibus.
She has attended the Palme D'Or film festival in Cannes as a mainstream actress, at which some of her films have been shown.
Her film Scarlet Diva won a Williamsburg Brooklyn Film Festival Award for Best New Director, which actually tied with two other films.
Other
She has done modelling work, often in provocative poses and various states of undress. She has two sons, the first of whom was born during her marriage (which has since ended in divorce), the second of whom was born in 2006. Ms. Caponegro adores animals and the sea and has always lived in Romagna sul Mare. In 2006 she passed her school leaving exams and expressed a desire to enrol at a university. In addition to Italian, she also speaks French and English.
Selen, several years ago, was also a leading of an Italian game called Sex Files.

Eva Henger is a Hungarian former porn star and an actress in mainstream films and a adult model.
She was born in the city of Gyor and was chosen Miss Teen Hungary in 1990 at her age of 17. In 1995 she went to Italy and soon became the girlfriend of porn producer Riccardo Schicchi. She married Schicchi and had two daughters by him. Henger gained popularity through her striptease performances and very few adult movie appearances.
She was very popular in Italy, where she hosted her own talkshow on national TV channel RAI UNO. In addition to this, she had a minor role in Gangs of New York (director cut deleted scenes).
Recently news states she was mentioned in a penal case against her husband where he was indicted for roping girls into prostitution in their bar Diva Futura in Rome. According to news reports, her TV show was immediately canceled. According to the Italian Wikipedia entry, she is currently serving four and a half years for unlawful confinement and immigration violations.
This former Miss Hungary is already a big star in Italy, stealing scenes in such art-house favorites as Anal Delights and Sins of the Throat, while also carving herself a nice little career as a comic actress—starring on two sketch-comedy shows on Italian TV.
In between she’s appeared in mainstream movies in her adopted home. Eva’s now ready to conquer America with a small role in the anxiously awaited musical comedy Gangs of New York.

Lilli carati è un'attrice cinematografica italiana, nota soprattutto per aver interpretato negli anni Settanta ed anni Ottanta numerosi film appartenenti al genere della commedia erotica all'italiana.
Iniziò la sua carriera nel mondo della moda, frequentando una scuola di indossatrici: la sua bellezza la fece arrivare seconda al concorso di Miss Italia del 1975.
Scritturata da Franco Cristaldi per la Vides Cinematografica, partecipò a varie pellicole noir e comico-erotiche di un certo successo, inoltre a differenza di altre colleghe di quegli anni attive solo su un unico genere cinematografico, Lilli interpretò più ruoli differenti: dal comico al drammatico, dal poliziottesco alla commedia dal noir all'erotico e all'exploitation.
Verso la metà degli anni Ottanta, tentato un ultimo rilancio con quattro film di Joe D'Amato e soprattutto con Voglia di Guardare (a fianco dell'amica Jenny Tamburi), oltrepassò il confine del genere sexy passando al porno, anche se i film hard che girò furono in tutto cinque: tutti gli altri vennero prodotti riutilizzando sequenze tagliate dai primi film o addirittura rimontandone vari spezzoni.
Malgrado le sue scelte l'avessero emarginata dal mondo patinato della televisione, i tanti servizi fotografici su testate come Playmen e Blitz ne mantennero alta la popolarità. Purtroppo la droga provocò un precoce declino artistico e fisico al punto di finire anche in carcere. Oggi è completamente disintossicata, ma non se ne hanno più notizie: in una vecchia intervista del 1995 affermò che lavorava attivamente nella comunità Saman, secondo alcuni forum potrebbe essere impegnata nell'attività commerciale della famiglia.

Sono una studentessa di Lettere, indirizzo storico-geografico e, per caso, sono divenuta una…sexy star ! Mi diverto a girare l’Italia con i miei spettacoli erotici.
Procediamo per ordine…….Ho sempre cercato di spaziare tra interessi diversi. Ho studiato canto, danza, pianoforte e recitazione. Mi piace molto leggere e scrivere (ho frequentato anche un corso di scrittura creativa con Vincenzo Cerami). Ho sete di conoscenza: dallo studio ho appreso disciplina, amore per l’arte e apertura mentale.
Ho iniziato a lavorare come artigiana nel negozio di pianoforti di mio padre. In seguito ho spaziato nel mondo dello spettacolo: attrice (film tv “La donna del treno” di Carlo Lizzani, etc…), cabarettista (spettacolo “Viste da dietro” alla Sala Testaccio), modella, corista (per il cantante Leandro Barsotti), ballerina ed infine…sexy-girl! Ero andata in un simpatico locale a Cava dei Tirreni, il “Porky’s”: mi fu proposto di fare lo strip-tease in sostituzione di una ragazza che non era venuta (in seguito ho scoperto che non era stata proprio chiamata!). Sulle prime rifiutai…scandalizzata, poi salii sul palco con “una sana dose d’incoscienza e di curiosità”.
Arrivata al punto cruciale, ricordo di aver provato una forte emozione: mi resi conto di quanto fosse eccitante sedurre il pubblico, suscitando erotismo con la sensualità delle movenze e degli sguardi!
Sentii quanto fosse bello e naturale lasciarsi andare al ritmo della musica e trasmettere la propria carica vitale agli spettatori. Comunicare sensazioni è un brivido inatteso, un andare oltre riscattando la fisicità dei sensi. E’ un’arte la seduzione, un gioco leggero…Così non ho più smesso; anzi, prossimamente mi esibirò anche on-line grazie all’occhio “indiscreto” di una web-cam!
Sono stata ospite in diverse trasmissioni tv (“Maurizio Costanzo Show”, ”Fuego”, ”Segreti”, ”Reporter”, etc…).
Spesso mi è stato chiesto come sia possibile conciliare questi aspetti, in apparenza contraddittori, della mia personalità. Mi pare logico e sano cercare di mettere a frutto le proprie qualità intellettive, senza rinnegare per questo la corporeità! Vivo bene con me stessa. L’erotismo mi ha sempre attratto: ho studiato letteratura erotica e mi diletto a scrivere racconti anche di tal genere. Vivere il sesso come proibizione violata dà luogo a morbosità e a negatività. Essendo contraria a questo, cerco di suggerire con il mio strip un ritorno alla naturalità dell’eros. Il mio è un “esperimento culturale”: un sorriso lieve per combattere ipocrisie e pochezze mentali e per restituire dignità alla fantasia e allo spettacolo erotico, facendolo uscire dal limbo entro cui è confinato, attraverso una più consapevole e matura libertà di pensiero.
Dopo diversi anni di carriera, iniziata nel cinema, e proseguita poi nel mondo dell’erotismo, una laurea all’attivo ed una di imminente conseguimento, la nota sexystar Loredana Bontempi, senza traccia di incertezza la più amata dai seguaci del genere, ha deciso di mettere a frutto gli studi musicali di canto e pianoforte effettuati in giovanissima età, cimentandosi nel canto.
